Disclosure
Some links on this page are my affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one, I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what I say about a program.
Every listing carries a badge. Tested by Zach means I've worked with it myself and the notes are mine. Terms read · Reviewing means I've read the program's terms and policies and I'm looking into it now. Untested by Zach means it's a well-known option I haven't personally vouched for yet. I'm working through the list.
Promote From Ground You Own
Affiliate sales take promotional effort. If you're on Instagram or any other social platform regularly, you have to be promoting. But never post affiliate links directly on social, even when the platform allows it.
Always send traffic through something you control first: your site, a squeeze page, your email list. Social platforms change their rules, flag links and shut down accounts. If your links live on your own domain, you can fix or swap them in one place, and the audience you build stays yours.
How to Vet an Offer
On marketplaces like ClickBank and JVZoo, great products sit right next to junk. Sales figures alone don't tell you which is which. A popular offer can be bad, and some of the best products I've promoted didn't catch on for years.
- Buy it or get a review copy. If you wouldn't use it, don't promote it.
- Read the sales page like a skeptic. Guaranteed income, fake countdown timers and "secret loophole" claims are red flags.
- Check the refund rate and policy. High refunds cost you commissions and trust.
- Look up the vendor. Who are they, what else have they sold, do they answer support emails?
- Ask if it fits your audience. A good product for the wrong people is still a bad promotion.
Programs, commissions and terms change often. Always read the current terms before you sign up.
Nothing matches that. Try a shorter word.
